Commercial & Industrial Applications

Most any concrete slab-on-grade can be raised. CRC Concrete Raising Corporation stabilize:

  • Sidewalks & Common Entrances
  • Interior Floors (Factory, Warehouse, Distribution Centers)
  • Parking Lots & Driveways
  • Delivery Ramps & Loading Docks
  • Equipment Pads
  • Pool Decks
  • Airport Areas
  • Building Foundations

CRC Concrete Raising Corporation has received an increased number of calls and inquiries from property owners and managers, including facilities and maintenance managers and their respective associations, looking to reduce “trip and fall liability” concerns, areas of ponding water due to poor slope or pitch, and/or owners seeking to bring existing concrete back to code and/or increasing the aesthetic appeal prior to a potential sale.

The benefits of raising concrete as opposed to “tear-out and replace”:

Reduce Liability Vertical offsets in concrete are hazardous to individuals, equipment, and items atop it. Concrete raising will effectively reduce and eliminate vertical offsets in concrete that are often associated with trip-and-fall injury claims, equipment repair, and product loss.

Minimal Disruption & Down Time Raising concrete and void filling by way of CRC’s calibrated cement-grouting process allows CRC to confine work to specific areas and partition off those areas sequentially. Unlike concrete replacement, factories and warehouses do not have to shut down and remove items from the entire facility.

Long-Term Repair CRC’s process and the ability to use metered materials allows for the provision of industry-leading warranties. The process of raising and void filling will compact and densify loose soils, displacing air and water found within the soil, allowing for a stable underlying sub-grade.

Engineered, Environmentally-Safe Solutions CRC utilizes calibrated volumetric mixers to place an environmentally-safe cement grout (slurry) beneath an existing concrete slab. Consistent, homogenized grout, produced by state-of-the-art equipment is what makes CRC Concrete Raising a leader in the concrete raising industry.

Cost Effective Concrete raising is cheaper than the alternative of concrete replacement. Other repair methodologies exist, but do not carry the ability to provide the long-term warranties and void filling capabilities produced by the CRC method.

In addition to the benefits listed above, and as a result of the proprietary CRC process, it should be readily noted that the raised and/or stabilized concrete can sustain a person’s bodyweight immediately, and (in the case of vehicle traffic areas) the area can be driven on in a matter of hours. Re-landscaping and landfill expenses common with concrete replacement are not incurred via the process of concrete raising.
